Torna alla homeCookie PolicyWhich cookies and similar technologies we use, why, and how you can manage them. Compliant with the Italian Data Protection Authority measure of 10 June 2021 and EDPB guidelines 03/2022. Version 1.0 — 1 May 2026. The official, legally binding version is the Italian one.
1. What cookies areCookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device to store information useful for the operation of the site itself, for security, for preferences or for measuring usage statistics. Similar technologies (browser local storage, tracking pixels, fingerprinting) are subject to the same rules.2. Types of cookies used by MoviQMoviQ uses only first-party cookies (set by the moviq.it domain) and does not install profiling, marketing or third-party advertising cookies.2.1 Essential technical cookiesNecessary for the operation of the Platform. They do not require consent under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Without these cookies the user cannot authenticate or complete a booking.

2.3 Aggregate analytics cookiesMoviQ uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly European analytics solution that does NOT use persistent cookies, does NOT track unique device identifiers, does NOT use browser fingerprinting, does NOT share data with third parties. Collection is entirely aggregate and anonymous. For this reason, in line with the 2021 Italian Data Protection Authority guidelines, our aggregate analytics qualify as technical tools equivalent to technical cookies and do not require explicit consent. The User can however disable them from the profile Settings or via their browser's Do-Not-Track setting, which we respect.Data collected in aggregate form: page visited, country of access (at state level), browser and operating system type (at family level), referrer (the originating site, if any).3. Third-party cookiesMoviQ does NOT install third-party cookies for advertising, profiling or marketing purposes. Some Platform features may use third-party technical services necessary for their operation. As things stand:
  • Supabase (Auth and Database) — EU technical provider, manages the authentication session via the tokens listed above. It does not use advertising cookies.
  • Maps (OpenStreetMap via Leaflet) — loading of map tiles from OpenStreetMap servers. It does not set cookies on your device. Your IP is seen by the tile provider during loading.
  • Cloudflare (CDN/DDoS protection) — infrastructure security provider. It may set technical security cookies (e.g. __cf_bm, duration 30 minutes) to distinguish human traffic from bots. Technical cookies, no profiling.

5. How to manage cookiesThe User can at any time manage and delete cookies from their browser settings:

  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
The analytics opt-out (disabling Plausible) is available directly from the "Settings → Privacy" page of the user profile.WARNING: deleting essential technical cookies results in being signed out of the account; at the next access you will need to authenticate again via magic link. Disabling functional cookies results in the loss of preferences (theme, language) and the recent-searches list.6. Transfers outside the EUThe data collected via the cookies listed above is processed exclusively within the European Economic Area. Cloudflare, the CDN provider, operates in a GDPR-compliant manner through Standard Contractual Clauses. No data is transferred to countries lacking an adequacy decision.7. UpdatesThis Cookie Policy may be updated in case of evolution of the technologies used or the regulatory framework. The version in force is always available at moviq.it/cookie with the date of last update. For any questions about the use of cookies, the User can write to privacy@moviq.it.
